Pearl of my life, after God is who I adore,

Hooyo gave me life to live for,

She opened doors, and closed my pain,

Told me anything, I want obtain,

That the life we live is just a game,

And I got to learn how to be a champ,

Hooyo was there, when they turned on me,

She made me smile, and made me happy,

Kind of woman that can safe the world,

Made me believe I can be stronger,

Taught me how to walk, and how to talk,

Hooyo bled and ached, so that she can feed,

Never spoke back, we scared to get beat,

She would sing me, “huuwa huuwa” (Lullaby)

And instantly, waan ku farxaa,  (I get happy)

And I would smile, tell her please repeat,

And by the end of that, I would go to sleep,

I tell her my secrets, with her share,
